For over a century the R. Stutzmann & Son Funeral Home has been caring for you and your family. R. Stutzmann & Son Funeral Home was founded in Ridgewood, New York in 1901 by Rudolph Stutzmann, Sr. In 1939 Mr. Stutzmann opened a location in Queens Village, New York and continued his tradition of serving families in their most difficult time of need.
This beautiful brick building, with parking for over 75 cars, became very popular throughout all of Queens reaching into Nassau County. This location became so popular that in 1969 Rudolph Stutzmann, Jr. continued his father’s legacy and decided to build a second location in New Hyde Park, Long Island. That building is located at 2000 Hillside Avenue and to this day both of these locations continue to provide families with the highest quality of funeral service. Our highly credentialed staff will ensure that everything will be taken care of whenever you call. In addition to our professional and courteous staff, our funeral arrangement programs offer real alternatives.
