Defeat Diabetes

Diabetes is a multi-faceted problem that affects millions of children and adults in the United States and Canada. Our mission is to mobilize the diverse resources of the Dignity Memorial network to DEFEAT this disease in our communities and in the lives of our associates.

Dignity Memorial

Encourages you to…

Fund. We know money raised for the American Diabetes Association and the Canadian Diabetes Association is critical to fund research, information and advocacy programs to combat diabetes. Dignity Memorial network providers support these efforts with corporate donations, as well as the encouragement of memorial gifts and employee fundraising activities.

Educate. We know more than 25 million people in the United States and Canada have diabetes, which means nearly one in four of our employees and customers are personally impacted by this disease. Dignity Memorial network providers help to inform our employees and communities about health factors that increase diabetes risk and ways to manage this disease, so we can all lead healthier, longer lives.

Act. We know action is the only cure for diabetes. Dignity Memorial network providers motivate employees and communities to tackle diabetes head-on, with diet, exercise, advocacy and monetary contributions.

Treasure. We know those lost to diabetes are dearly loved by family and friends. Dignity Memorial network providers treasure each life story, and help loved ones honor and remember with unique Internet tributes to be cherished and appreciated.
