In 1954, Raymond L. Morris founded Arlington Funeral Home. On April 26, 1956, the dedication service was held in the chapel, officially opening what was billed at the time as “The most modern funeral home in Northern Virginia.” The funeral home conducted its first funeral in May of that same year.
Arlington Funeral Home is located near the nation’s capitol and Arlington National Cemetery, where we have laid to rest thousands of veterans who protected and defended our great nation.
Mr. Morris began Arlington Funeral Home with a commitment to a high standard of service, and throughout our history, we have continued to lead and innovate while maintaining those high standards. We are honored and proud to uphold this heritage and commitment to our community.
Today, we’re proud to be a member of the Dignity Memorial® network of funeral, cremation and cemetery service providers.
