The Behm Funeral Home began in 1928 as the John P. Lucas Funeral Home, operating from the home of Mr. Lucas. In 1950 Mr. Lucas erected a stand-alone building for the funeral home next to his residence and operated the funeral home until 1961. At that time the funeral home was purchased by Frank J. Behm and operated as the Lucas and Behm Funeral Home.
In 1981 Mr. Behm incorporated the funeral home into the Behm Funeral Home, Inc., and we have been proudly serving our communities since. During the years there have been several renovations to the facilities to improve our service and accommodations to the families we serve. The Behm Funeral Home has a long tradition of the highest professional service, compassion and care of your loved one. We feel it is an honor and privilege that you have entrusted your loved one into our care.
