History of Cason Monk-Metcalf Funeral Directors
Our history dates back to 1893 when Cason Monk & Co. was established by the Cason and Monk families in downtown Nacogdoches. After acquiring Branch Patton Funeral Home in 1946, the firm relocated to Mound Street.
In 1986, the funeral home merged with Oakley Metcalf Funeral Home and relocated to its present location, where it is known throughout the community as Cason Monk-Metcalf Funeral Directors.
