History of Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home
Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home has been serving our community since 1934. The late Walter A. Cuffe Sr. and now his son, Walter A. Cuffe Jr., have provided service to their community for more than five decades.
The elder Cuffe first established his home on Johnson Street in Lynn in 1934, and then, in 1976 merged his funeral home with the McGinn Funeral Home at 157 Maple Street. The McGinn Funeral Home was one of the oldest in Lynn and was founded by Lawrence G. and William E. McGinn.
The Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home on Maple Street expanded in 1981 and again in 1992, making it one of the largest and most complete facilities on the Massachusetts North Shore.
