Woolsey-Wilton Funeral Home opened for business in 1986. The Woolsey family has been funeral directors in Pekin, Ill., for many years. Baird Woolsey was joined by Richard Wilton, a funeral director from another family firm in the Peoria area. Baird constructed the elegant building at the corners of Willow Knolls Drive and Allen Road in Peoria.
They developed a reputation for delivering services with the highest standards of quality and professionalism. In 1992, Woolsey-Wilton Funeral Home joined the Dignity Memorial network.
