History of DiCicco & Sons Funeral Homes
DiCicco Funeral Home was founded in 1924 by Nick and Jessie DiCicco in a community east of Cleveland called Collinwood. Here, the DiCiccos began to foster caring and compassionate human relationships and friendships during the difficult times of the Great Depression.
In 1964, the doors of the DiCicco and Sons Funeral Home opened in Mayfield Heights. Nick and Jessie’s eldest son Anthony followed in the profession as they continued to offer a full range of services and products to the people of Collinwood, Mayfield Heights and the surrounding communities of northeastern Ohio.
Anthony, along with his three sons, Anthony Jr., Nicholas and Domenic continue to operate the funeral home, taking pride in offering you personal attention and distinctive service.
Through concern and care Nick and Jessie DiCicco came to be regarded as one of the “first families” of the Cleveland funeral business. Their professionalism and dedication provided exceptional, compassionate care to families at a difficult time in their lives. Everyone at DiCicco and Sons is proud to uphold this heritage and commitment. We believe that funeral services should reflect the lives of those being honored, and we do our utmost to continue creating meaningful tributes to those who have meant so much to family and friends.
