History of Dignity Memorial Funeral & Cremation Services
Dignity Memorial Funeral & Cremation Services was founded by funeral director R. Jay Kraeer in 1952. We purchased a new funeral home in May 2009 in the beautiful city of Tamarac, Florida.
The new building has a unique structure and the capacity to accommodate more than150 people comfortably with an easy access lobby, chapel and restrooms. The parking lot has the capability to park more than 50 vehicles with easy access to main roadways and major highways.
R. Jay Kraeer began with a commitment to a high standard of service, and throughout our history we have continued to lead and innovate in our community while maintaining those high standards of service. Everyone at Kraeer Mason Funeral Funeral Home and Cremation Center is proud to uphold this heritage and commitment to our community.
Today, we’re proud to be a member of the Dignity Memorial® network of more than 1,600 funeral, cremation and cemetery service providers. Dignity Memorial providers offer exclusive benefits, including National Transferability of Prearranged Services, the Bereavement Travel Program, the 24-Hour Compassion Helpline® and access to an acclaimed grief management library.
