Joining Together in the Fight Against Diabetes
The Dignity Memorial® network is a National Strategic Partner of the American Diabetes Association. That means, as a network of providers, we’ve joined the fight against diabetes. This life-altering disease affects more than 23 million Americans. We believe that by joining together across the country, we can positively impact the lives of Americans living with and fighting diabetes. For more information about diabetes, visit the American Diabetes Association.
Team Dignity is composed of employees, families and friends of Dignity Memorial providers across the country. Together, we’re working to support the American Diabetes Association in its effort to fight diabetes. Through our commitment to Fund, Educate, Act and Treasure, Team Dignity makes a difference in the communities we serve.
Money raised for the American Diabetes Association is critical to fund research, information and advocacy programs to combat diabetes. Dignity Memorial network providers support these efforts with corporate donations, as well as the encouragement of memorial gifts and employee fundraising activities.
More than 25 million people in the United States have diabetes, which means nearly one in four of our associates and customers are personally impacted by this disease. Dignity Memorial network providers help to inform our associates and communities about health factors that increase diabetes risk and ways to manage this disease, so we can all lead healthier, longer lives.
Action is the only cure for diabetes. Dignity Memorial network providers motivate employees and communities to tackle diabetes head-on, with diet, exercise, advocacy and monetary contributions.
