Part of Your Culture

In your time of need, you may find comfort in knowing that we understand the traditions of your culture. It’s our culture too. That’s why the services we offer accommodate the most important customs of Hispanic funeral traditions.

For example, we’re pleased to offer families the opportunity to observe extended visitation hours. Comfortable family rooms adjacent to or near visitation rooms offer a home-like atmosphere in which family members can gather, rest or sleep during an extended visitation. Well-appointed with many of the comforts of home, our family rooms allow families to support and comfort one another in a private, relaxed space.

Many facilities also offer hospitality rooms which include preparation and dining areas so families can either warm or serve food while attending an extended visitation, or host guests for a reception following a funeral service. Many Funeraria Del Angel, Memorial Plan and other Dignity Memorial® network providers also offer refreshments or coffee for your reception or family gathering.

Visitations and services are often true family affairs, including a family’s youngest members too. Several of our providers’ facilities include children’s rooms to keep little ones occupied and entertained while their parents attend the service and visit with family members. These indoor play areas not only allow guests with small children to attend the services, but also allow the children to be included in the family gathering, while keeping the actual services free from interruption or distraction.

Together with other services such as bilingual or multilingual personnel, in-home visitations and transfers to country of birth, these amenities and offerings are all designed to allow the families we serve the opportunity to honor their loved ones according to their own cultural traditions. We’ll also work with you to design a truly personal service reflective of the life or special wishes of your loved one. We can arrange music, displays, flowers and other details to deliver a personalized service befitting of the life remembered.

When family and tradition are important to you and the way you celebrate the life of a loved one, you can count on us to understand, respect and honor the traditions you hold dear.
