Forest Park, Ill. - August 31, 2012

For 100 years, Woodlawn Memorial Park, a Dignity Memorial® provider, has been serving the Chicagoland community with dedication, excellence and innovation. The public is invited to a ceremony marking the historic milestone at 11 a.m. on Saturday, September 15, 2012. Cemetery and funeral home tours will be available, and refreshments will be served. Please call 708-442-8500 for more information.

In 1912, Woodlawn Memorial Park opened on approximately 95 wooded and landscaped acres in the western Chicago suburb of Forest Park. As a part of the community for a century, Woodlawn has a rich history of exceptional attention to detail and outstanding service to families. Woodlawn Memorial Park is the final resting place for many of Chicagoland’s pioneers and community leaders.

In 2006 Woodlawn opened a modern and comfortable 12,000-square-foot funeral home to increase its service capabilities to the community. Woodlawn Memorial Park and Funeral Home is now able to offer families numerous funeral options in addition to our cemetery options.

Today, Woodlawn Memorial Park is a proud member of the Dignity Memorial network – offering families in the Chicagoland community an ever-growing array of exclusive benefits through North America’s largest, most trusted network of licensed funeral, cremation and cemetery providers. These include:
