Forest Park Westheimer was founded in 1956 by James Forbis Eubanks. At the time, Westheimer was just a two-lane road, and the cemetery was surrounded by cattle fields. As Houston grew, Forest Park Westheimer became known as one of the most convenient and centralized locations in west Houston. The Eubanks family has proudly served Houstonians for over four generations at their Forest Park Westheimer, Forest Park Lawndale and Forest Park East facilities. In 1976, a funeral home was constructed at Forest Park Westheimer, creating a combination cemetery and funeral home location able to better serve client families with added ease and convenience.
