George J. Roberts and Sons Funeral Home was founded in 1927 by George J. Roberts, Sr. on the west side of Buffalo, where it remained for more than 20 years. Mr. Roberts’ son George J., Jr. moved the business to 2400 Main Street in 1948. The Main Street location continued operation under the leadership of George Jr.’s sons, G. Brian Roberts and Gary M. Roberts until 2001. At that time, the funeral home was relocated to 3000 Delaware Avenue to better serve the community and its families.

The George J. Roberts & Sons Funeral Home is part of the Dengler, Roberts, Perna Funeral Home business and continues to operate at 3000 Delaware Avenue in Kenmore. G. Brian and Gary Roberts continue the family tradition of service excellence begun by George J. Roberts, Sr.
