History of Georgia Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery Winkenhofer Chapel
In 1999, Georgia Memorial Park Funeral Home was established to better serve the needs of our community. We are a lovely religious sanctuary located in the heart of Cobb County. First established as Windy Valley Farm, the property was purchased by Byron Eugene Reeves in 1950. In 1954, the property was designated as a perpetual care cemetery.
Surrounded by a cluster of stately oaks, a gracious southern mansion stands vigil over the 78-acre memorial park. The grounds are carefully maintained and a state-regulated perpetual care endowment fund guarantees that Georgia Memorial Park’s beauty will continue to endure.
The professional staff at Georgia Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery Winkenhofer Chapel understands how difficult it can be to deal with arranging a funeral or cremation service and we are committed to assisting families with compassionate and personal service. Whether you are making advanced arrangements for yourself or having to make funeral plans for a loved one, we are here to assist you.
