H.C. Alexander Funeral Home was established in Lutcher, Louisiana in the early 1900s. Mr. Alexander was a blacksmith in the rural community of Lutcher when he saw a need to provide assistance to those in need. In the beginning, Mr. Alexander provided mortuary services by preparing a loved one from one of his dedicated buildings and providing visitations at the family’s residence.
In 1925, he built the existing funeral home along River Road in Lutcher to provide full-service funerals to the community. In the mid-1950s, the Alexander family saw a need to expand their business to Norco, Louisiana, another rural community, down river in St. Charles parish.
Today, we’re proud to be a member of the Dignity Memorial® network of funeral, cremation and cemetery service providers and we are committed to exceeding expectations and delivering a standard of service that is 100 percent guaranteed.
