In 1936, Mr. Ricketts built Ricketts Funeral Home, and Mr. Rickett’s grandson, Richard Radcliffe, became the owner upon his grandfather’s death in 1949. After several years, Radcliffe Funeral Home merged with Adkins Funeral Home to become Adkins Radcliffe Funeral Home. In the 1970’s, Mr. Adkins retired and once again, the funeral home was called Radcliffe Funeral Home.
In 1990, Arch L. Heady III purchased the home and changed the name to Arch L. Heady-Radcliffe Funeral Home. Today, we are proud to be a member of the Dignity Memorial® network of more than 1,600 funeral, cremation and cemetery service providers. As North America’s largest network of funeral, cremation and cemetery service providers, the Dignity Memorial brand is your assurance of quality, value, caring service and customer satisfaction.
