History of Hodges Funeral Home at Naples Memorial Gardens
In 1964, Earl and Thelma Hodges founded Hodges Funeral Home, which is now known as Naples Memoria Funeral Home, on Tamiami Trail in Naples, Florida. Mr. Hodges was one of the early funeral service pioneers in Collier County.
Naples Memorial Garden Cemetery was started in the 1950s by a group of Naples businessmen. Year by year, we have added more gardens, facilities and memorial options to suit the changing needs and specific requests of the community that we serve. As our physical growth continues, so does the depth and dedication of our staff. To ensure your comfort with our counselors and funeral directors, we maintain strict license requirements, provide continuing education programs, and emphasize our ongoing commitment and concern for your every need.
In 2005, the former Hodges Funeral Home relocated to its new location and state-of-the-art funeral home at the entrance to Naples Memorial Gardens and became known as Hodges Funeral Home at Naples Memorial Gardens. Mr. Hodges began with a commitment to a high standard of service, and throughout our history we have continued to lead and innovate, while maintaining those high standards of service. Everyone at Naples Memorial Funeral Home and Cemetery is proud to uphold this heritage and commitment to our community.
