History of Kiker-Seale Funeral Home

Kiker-Seale Funeral Home has served Colorado City, Texas, and Mitchell County with quality funeral services for more than 85 years. In 1926, Davis Kiker established this long-standing business in Colorado City. He worked alone for many years until after World War II when his son, Doyle Kiker, joined the firm to assist his father. Mr. Kiker passed away in 1958, and Doyle and his wife, Frances, continued with the business. Through the years, the business was located in several downtown locations. In 1971, Bill Seale purchased the firm, and Mr. Kiker continued as the manager for several years. Mr. Kiker passed away in 1989. In 1990, a new facility was constructed at our present location to better serve the funeral needs of the community. Mr. Seale passed away in 2005.
