Loflin Funeral Home of Liberty, formerly Curtis Funeral Home, was established in 1945, by brothers J. Carl Loflin and Homer L. Loflin in Liberty, North Carolina. In the summer of 1953, they purchased the former Dr. R.D. Patterson residence and completely renovated and expanded the property into a modern funeral home to better serve the people of Liberty and the surrounding areas. 1977, Jim C. Loflin, the son of J. Carl Loflin, purchased the business and managed and owned it until 1991. After more than 60 years, Loflin Funeral Home of Liberty continues to proudly uphold their standards of loyal, caring service to the community.
