After serving as a Navy pilot during World War II in the North and South Pacific, Raymond “Ray” C. Neville attended school at the Cleveland College of Mortuary Science through his G.I. Bill. He envisioned a need in Toledo and opened Neville Funeral Home and Ambulance Service in 1953. His commitment to excellence in service, personalized funeral arrangements, pre-arrangements, affordable prices and payment plans produced outstanding results. The business flourished in the Reynolds Corners community and remains today a respected part of the neighborhood. Mr. Neville recognized a need in the neighboring community of Holland/Springfield Township, and in 1976 our Southwest Chapel doors opened.
As a former president of the Ohio Funeral Directors Association, Mr. Neville has remained active in many local, civic and charitable organizations. He began Neville Funeral Home with a commitment to a high standard of service and throughout our history, we have continued to lead and innovate while maintaining those high standards.
