Claudine loved to sing, dance, play cards, but being with her family gave her the most joy. She loved everyone and never met a stranger. She had a message in a song that she sang to her grandchildren religiously: “If you want to be somebody, if you want to go somewhere, You’ve got to wake up and pay attention” and made them repeat those words back to her.
