History of Olinger Woods Chapel
Olinger Woods Chapel is located on the corner of 11th Street and Washington Avenue in Golden, Colorado. Our building is one of Golden’s oldest, constructed to serve as a dry goods store for area miners in 1870. The building was later remodeled in 1913 to serve as a mortuary operated by William Woods and Charles Sanders.
