Pierce Brothers Valhalla Memorial Park has been a part of the San Fernando Valley community since the early 1920s. Our main fountain, which was built in 1923, stands out because of its monumental size and precious statuary and delicacy.

What is now known as a national architectural treasure, the "Portal of the Folded Wings" was considered the tallest structure in the City of Burbank in the 1930s. This structure sits on the eastern side of our memorial grounds to honor pioneers of the aviation industry and was used as a visual aid to pilots landing at the Union Airport, which is now known as Burbank-Glendale Airport.

Our facility continues to be part of the history of the San Fernando Valley area by presenting its annual "Service of Remembrance" in which families gather to render a memorial to celebrate the life to their loved ones.

Since its creation, Pierce Brothers has proudly served our community by hosting several activities on our grounds for the community and we are honored to present a yearly Memorial Day celebration inviting the community to participate and honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country.
