Our funeral home was originally known as Corbett and Quirk Funeral Home. Back then, we serviced the local population, mostly of Irish and English descent.
In 1972, Daniel Pontarelli, then a young funeral director looking to establish a name in the funeral field, became the owner of Corbett and Quirk Funeral Home. After Daniel purchased the home, the funeral home’s name was changed to Corbett, Quirk and Pontarelli Funeral Home.
Many years later, with his business expanding, he merged his business with Peter Marino Jr. These two men formed a team to build a strong business in the community and the funeral home was renamed to become Pontarelli-Marino Funeral Home.
Although Peter has passed, his son, Mark Marino, continues the family’s tradition and works with Dan at the funeral home. Throughout the years, Pontarelli-Marino Funeral Home has built a reputation for showing respect, dignity and honor to all we have serviced.
Today, we’re proud to be a member of the Dignity Memorial® network of funeral, cremation and cemetery service providers.
