Resurrection Funeral Home is built on the last piece of farmland owned by a local judge and his family. The original parcel ran along the south side of 18 Mile Road from Garfield Road to Hayes Road.
Barry Burnham designed and built the 13,500 square-foot building in the English Tudor style, known for its distinctive brickwork inlays and fireplace chimney tops. The attention to subtle detail in design and function are evident in the flow of daily operations and the overall appearance of the facility.
In 2001, Barry Burnham was awarded the Sam Walton Small Business Award, and in 2002, he was the first recipient of the Distinguished Community Service Award.
Every year, more than 450 families place their trust and confidence in the staff of Resurrection Funeral Home. We’re proud to be one of the leading community funeral firms in Clinton Township, Michigan.
