History of Reynolds Funeral Chapel
James Reynolds went to work for the Drake Funeral Home in 1935 and, in 1937, he purchased the business, renaming it Reynolds Funeral Home. The business originally was located in downtown Twin Falls on Second Avenue West. Reynolds moved the business to a new facility on East Addison Avenue in 1959.

In the early 1960s, Jim’s son Paul came to work with his father and, in 1984, Paul took over business operations. After Jim’s passing in 1986, Paul continued to operate a caring and compassionate business. Further expansion and remodeling took place in 1992.

On May 1, 2003, a few months after Paul passed following a courageous battle with cancer, Trent Stimpson was made manager of Reynolds Funeral Chapel. Trent started his career with Reynolds Funeral Chapel in 1986, when he was in junior high school. He graduated from Cypress College Department of Mortuary Science in Cypress, Calif., in 1994.

Trent is a lifelong resident of Twin Falls. He and his wife Betty are raising their three children, Tayler, Bryan, and Jayden, in the same town in which he grew up. Trent carries on the traditions taught to him by Jim and Paul Reynolds.

Longtime Reynolds employee and Twin Falls resident Fred Coggburn has worked with the Reynolds Chapel team since 1981. He and wife Vicki love living in Twin Falls and have two grown children, Daniel and Bethany.

Trent Stimpson and Fred Coggburn continue the tradition of great service and compassion that Paul Reynolds gave to the families of the Magic Valley. They’re here to help you with the utmost professionalism, compassion and caring.
