History of Rose Hill Burial Park

Rose Hill Burial Park began in 1917 in Oklahoma City. This beautiful 160 acre cemetery is home to one of the first public mausoleums in the state of Oklahoma. The original mausoleum was built in 1919 by John Harden. Since then, the cemetery has added two additional mausoleums, the Woodsbrook Cremation Garden, and a small lake complete with a gazebo and fountains.

Many of the founding families of Oklahoma City have memorialized their family members here since the cemetery opened in 1919.

Today, we’re proud to be a member of the Dignity Memorial® network of funeral, cremation and cemetery service providers. Rose Hill Burial Park extends from Grand Avenue west to Pennsylvania and is open 7 days a week to assist you with your needs. The staff of Rose Hill stands ready to offer you a tour of the entire cemetery and mausoleums.
