In 1952, Sunset Memorial Gardens was established by Herb Johnson. Sunset Funeral Home was added in 1991 to create one convenient location to assist with funeral and cemetery needs. This is now known as Sunset Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens. Our convenient location is situated on 54 acres with mature trees and well-kept landscaping. Sunset Memorial Gardens provides a beautiful and quiet place to honor the memory of your loved ones.

Today, we are proud to be a member of the Dignity Memorial® network and are closely affiliated with two other locations in the Rockford area, which include Willwood Burial Park and Advantage® Funeral & Cremation Services.
