Founded in 1952 by W.D. and Dallas J. Dohority on farmland west of Greeley, Sunset Memorial Gardens has grown along with the surrounding community. Originating with the Garden of the Christus and the Garden of Devotion, the cemetery now includes gardens a Veterans’ Garden, Catholic Garden, Cremation Garden and a Private Estate section.

In 1987 Sunset Memorial Gardens became a proud member of the Dignity Memorial® network, and in 1995 we became affiliated with Stoddard Funeral Home. This affiliation enabled both Stoddard and Sunset to provide complete funeral, cemetery and cremation options to client families.

W.D. and Dallas J. Dohority began with a commitment to a high standard of service and throughout our history we have continued to lead and innovate while maintaining those high standards.
