History of Valley Forge Memorial Gardens
Historical Valley Forge Memorial Gardens, located in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, was established in 1915 on farmland that dates back to the late 1600s. John Roberts, a Welshman, arrived in the King of Prussia area in 1682 and operated a farm and grist mill, part of which is the site of Valley Forge Memorial Gardens. He married Elizabeth Owen, and together they had three children.

Several years later, the farm, previously known as Swamp Vrass Farm, was decreased and acreage sold. In 1912, Judson Kerr purchased the 168 acre property and sold 81 acres to Valley Forge Cemetery Association in 1915.

Today, we are a proud member of the Dignity Memorial® network of funeral, cremation and cemetery service providers. We are committed to exceeding expectations and delivering a standard of service that is 100 percent guaranteed. Valley Forge Memorial Gardens proudly has served our community for more than 70 years.
