History of Valley View Memorial Park
In 1955, Edwin K. Winder and his family created Valley View Memorial Park to meet the rapidly expanding population of the western Salt Lake Valley. Valley View Memorial Park was created from one of the most beautiful farmland areas in the Mountain West neslted between the Wasatch Range on the east and the beautiful Oquirrh Mountains to the west. In 1995, a new funeral home was developed to compliment the memorial park.
