History of Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park South Valley
Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park was developed by Stephen L. Richards in 1912. Richards envisioned a place “where serenity and peace of nature enshrine the tender memories of those we love.” His wisdom has guided Wasatch Lawn into what it is today.

After 88 years of continued cemetery service, Wasatch expanded to the southwest corner of the valley to Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park South Valley. The same careful planning that went into the original location is carried over into our new gardens, which provide both traditional and cremation interment. Serving the community for three generations, the Richards family continues to assist and advise in the development of Wasatch Lawn under the direction of the Dignity Memorial network.
