History of Hardy Funeral Home Valley Station
W.G. Hardy Funeral Home was founded by W. G. Hardy, Sr. in West Point, Kentucky in the early 1900s. The Hardy family opened an additional location in Shively in 1934 and followed with locations on Broadway and in the Beechmont and Valley Station areas of Louisville. Today, we are proud to be a member of the Dignity Memorial® network of funeral, cremation and cemetery service providers. Dignity Memorial providers offer exclusive benefits, including National Transferability of Prearranged Services, the Bereavement Travel Program, the 24-Hour Compassion Helpline® and access to an acclaimed grief management library. The Dignity Memorial brand is your assurance of quality, value, caring service and customer satisfaction.

Our convenient location provides families with spacious visitation areas and two comfortable lounge areas to accommodate all guests. To better serve families, we are associated with the Evergreen and Resthaven Cemeteries in Louisville, as well as Highland Memory Gardens in Mount Washington and Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany, Indiana.
