Witzler Shank Funeral Home

Our story began in the 1850s when we were founded by the Witzler family in Perrysburg, Ohio. Robert L. Shank joined the firm in the early 1960s and saw a need for a funeral home in the neighboring community of Walbridge. In 1968 he opened the Walbridge Chapel of Witzler-Shank, located on North Main Street in the heart of Walbridge. In 1968, through community support, we did an extensive renovation, adding a new lounge and chapel to provide the community with one of the largest facilities in northwest Ohio.
