Woodlawn Memorial Park was established in 1938 by Mr. Clyde M. Gaffney, Sr. and was the first cemetery in South Carolina to limit memorials to flat markers. Approximately 35,000 burials have occurred since Woodlawn Memorial Park’s inception. Our beautiful Woodlawn Funeral Home, which was established in 1996, is located on the same grounds as the cemetery and has plenty of parking.

Woodlawn Memorial Park’s Bell Tower is located at the front entrance and is a major landmark in Greenville.
