A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 26, 2011 at Eastside Church of Christ, 5400 Sawgrass Road, Sarasota, 34232.
Survivors include a son, Otis (Jenny) Howell III; daughters Joyce (Tom) Hollingsworth and Deborah (Randy) Tidwell; a sister, Jinx Adams; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Geneva. A lifelong resident of Sarasota, Otis was retired from the State of Florida Division of Forestry
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Eastside Church of Christ.
