Survivors are his wife, Betty; son, David and daughters, Susan Chudy and Lisa Stay. Eight grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
Dennis entered this world on December 16, 1931 in Longview, Washington. Needing the help of a respirator to survive was the beginning of one and only Brundage baby.
He spent most of his growing years in Forest Grove, Oregon. Upon High School graduation, he joined the Navy. He spent four years during the Korean conflict. Also during this time he married his wife, Betty. They were married more than 65 years.
After his discharge, he entered Pacific University, graduating with a degree in Business Administration. He taught school and later was a Training Officer for both BLM and the Forest Service.
Dennis was a fighter. Over the course of his life, he had many life threatening surgeries. Starting with quadruple by-pass at the age of 46 years. He was retired on a Medical Disability following that surgery.
Upon retirement, he spent the last 39 years in Arizona.
If these walls could talk,
They would speak of a man
Who has worked with great heart
To accomplish his plan.
They would speak of the times
That he's prayed in the night
For the strength to go on
And do what is right.
They'd speak of sweet moments
of laughter and fun,
The times with his children
His love for each one.
Oh, if they could talk,
It would just be the start
Of a story of love,
A GREAT MAN, AND HIS HEART.
Dad, there aren't words enough to say how much you were admired, how much you were appreciated, how much you were loved.
