Lawrence R. Reeder, 80, of The Villages, FL, died on January 29, 2019. He was born in Carmi, Illinois and reared in Mt. Vernon, Illinois. He moved to The Villages from Russellville, Kentucky. He was a career educator, teaching and coaching at the high school level and serving as a Financial Aid Specialist for the state of Kentucky in Technical Education. He was active in The Villages Softball Program, serving for a time on Division III’s Board of Directors. Lawrence is preceded in death by his wife, Peggy Reeder. He is survived by his brother, Harold E. Reeder, Thornton, CO, and two nieces: Susan Reeder, Aurora, CO and Stacey Yost, Johnstown, CO.A dual memorial service for both Larry and his wife Peggy will be held at First Baptist Church in Wildwood, Florida on February 19, 2019 at 12:00 noon.
