So sorry to hear about the loss of your Beautiful daughter Cordelia.  I can't begin to imagine the heartbreak you are feeling.  I pray God will give you peace & comfort in the coming days and weeks ahead.

   I had Cordelia in Pre-K and was so very blessed to also have her in computers...She was so very precious…She had the light of the Lord that everyone could see even when she was in Pre-K…She was so caring and loving, so funny and full of life and she was always smiling…She was so precious and I was so blessed by God to have her in my life…and what a true blessing that has been…She always will have a very very special place here in my heart…Cordelia, thank you for being a beacon for the Lord...You are shining a radiance even brighter now...One day we will all be together again...Love you my sweet girl 

I had the privilege of being one of Cordelias friends and I loved every minute of it. We had floral design together and at one point when she was in band we had a small little band family. We were always playing UNO or Crazy 8s in floral design. We were always partners for projects in this class as well. We created a wedding together, which she did most of the amazing and beautiful work on, and we made a yellow and blue elephant, one her favorite and the other mine, for our plant. She had made that class so much fun. She always lit up the room and the days she wasn’t there you could tell. Another one of my favorite memories was when we went to prom and she was so mad because they refused to let her order off the kids menu. She was always so sweet, funny, caring, and amazing. I love you Cordelia and I will miss your laugh and your smiling face. 

May God bring comfort and peace to your hearts in your loss of Cordelia. May He continue to strengthen your resolve to continue to stand up for the rights of your fellow Texans and believers and to continue to fight for what you know is right.

Cordelia is my 3rd cousin I was not living in Shawnee at first then we moved there. We went to church together and I rode with them. One Sunday Terry went over the railroad tracks and we all bumped on heads. Me and the kids laughed and said do it again. Carrie was against that. Cordelia always made me laugh. She was beautiful and had a special soul.  I love you Cordelia 

Cordelia and I worked together at Sonic. We hit it off immediately, I knew we would become close friends right then. I was correct, everyday working with her was better than the next. She brought life to the room with her constant laughter and beautiful smile. We may not have known each other more than a few months, but I can truly say she became one of my best friends. I will forever treasure the memories we have made. I love you Cordelia. 

Cordelia and I met working together at The Little Gym of Waco. From the moment we met, I knew she was going to be one of my best friends. We worked together and became closer everyday, going to Chick-fil-A (our fav) and even hanging out before we had to work. Over the short period of time we had know each other, we still made therapy sessions a must! Whether it was on FaceTime whenever we could, or just hanging out, bringing each other drinks when we needed them. Though we went to different schools, we still stayed in touch quite a bit and got so excited when we’d see each other in public. The past 8 months I’ve known this girl have felt like a life time and it’s safe to say she was one of my very best friends. I love you Cor! Thanks for all the great memories you gave me. I’ll never forget you sweet girl♥️

Cordelia was a very good friend and at one time she was my teammate in volleyball, my partner in cheer, and a schoolmate. I’ve seen her in her good days and her bad days but most of them were good and I was thankful that she would share those good days with me. She was my partner in cheer, we did every stunt together and nothing was harder than having to hold in our laughs when everyone was so serious during practices. My best memory of her was our horrible dancing at cheer practice and our really ugly laughs. I’ll definitely miss her the most in cheer because we’d always compete to who could be louder but no doubt she was definitely louder than me. I’m sad to believe that your gone Cordelia but the memories will forever stay with me. 

I had just met Cordelia this last year through my best friend Kevin P., and she was just a bright light shining every where. I took her fishing for her first time...i can just remember the excitement and happiness on her face when she got her first fish. She had a special place in my friend group and i grew close to her. There’s no amount of time i’d trade with the time i spent with her. Cor was an angel even here with her time on earth. God has a plan and it’s our purpose to fulfill that plan of his. I know deep down that he wouldn’t put all her loved ones through this if he knew we couldn’t get past this hard time eventually. No matter what, she will always be kept dear and near my heart. I was so blessed to have such a great friend put into my life.

We are very new to the McGregor community, but Miss Cordelia has definitely become one the sweet memories we are adding to our story here.  
We had finally made our way over to the square to see Santa after the Christmas parade was over, and our 8 year old was excited to see that "Miss McGregor Teen" was there.   Disregarding the fact that we had completely and unintentionally cut in line, Cordelia was so kind to her and handed her a little bag of cookies.  She talked with us for a little while and then, noticing the look of admiration in the younger girl's eyes, removed her tiara and placed it on our daughter's head.  It was a very special moment.  That was our first and last meeting with Cordelia, but I just want her family to know, that she was definitely a ray of sunshine to us, even in the darkness!  
We are praying for all who knew and loved her.  

Me and cordelia have been friends since I can remember. Some of my earliest childhood memories are of me and Cordelia on the playground in kindergarten or on school field trips. Cordelia always had a way of making me laugh. At anytime any day even sometimes when you shouldn’t be laughing. She could make you laugh just with her contagious laughter. She always has held a special place in my heart and she always will.

She would come over to our house with our Daughter and her boyfriend and they would all play chase in the yard and swim all them HOT summer days, She was such a JOY to talk with She was so looking forward to her life in college and just Life itself She loved her Heavenly father so much.We will miss all the long conversations we all had with her .

Miss Cordelia Sloan. You will forever be the giggle box at your table in kindergarten, who immediately put her head down and started coloring when I looked over. When you peeked up at me and smiled that million dollar smile, that room lit up like a spotlight hit you. That light that followed you everywhere you went. You will always be in my heart sweet girl. 

Cordelia and I were friends all my life. she had been with me from the very beginning i can’t remember her not being by my side. we spent literally everyday of the year with each other. we could never run out of things to say to each other. she also used to show up at my house unannounced and scare me half to death 

From dating to hating each other to becoming bestfriends, she was truly a great person. All the memories that were made will forever stay in my heart. She would always come over just to eat dinner with my family and I. She always said that this was her second home and she sure did show it when she came over. To all of her family, thank you for bringing her to this world. She sure did shine bright in this dark world. What a wonderful soul.

cordelia, i have no words for her. she was indescribable. we made the best memories, and i will always cherish those forever and always (our fave taylor swift song haha). i know she’s here and will always be, we love you sweet girl, can’t wait to hear all of your boy stories:)💗

I have many memories with Cordelia but two of my favorites would be prom and district track. She never failed to make me laugh whenever I wanted to cry. She was one of the best friends I’ve ever had! I miss your smile, your  crazy laugh but most of all ..I miss the way you could love. I love you Cor! 💛

Cor was our ray of sunshine in our friend group. I love her with all my heart. All the whataburger runs and staying up late laughing is all the memories i need to keep going. she is the most kind hearted person i know and will ever know. she listened to all my rants and always talked to me about them... save a seat up there for me baby girl.

My little girl loved Cordelia. Although they did not spend a great amount of time together, Gracie loved her and stayed glued to her. Thank You Cordelia for being so sweet to my baby! I am so happy that I took a picture of you two at the game that night. To her friends and family, my heart breaks for you. May our loving father wrap his arms around you all and offer you comfort in your time of sorrow and grief. Love and prayers to all.

I was Cordelia’s third grade teacher. She was a happy, bubbly, spunky student. I could have left her in charge of my class and everything would have gone smoothly. One day my student teacher got the word “sound” turned upside down when creating a word wall and called it punos.  Cordelia was close enough to hear  us giggling about it and started laughing with us. The game started that when we saw each other the first person to say “yell” punos won.  We have been playing punos for 8 years!! In our last exchange in a text near Christmas time I was the punos winner. We exchanged laughs. You have always made me happy Cordelia! I love you sweet baby girl. You will forever be in my heart! I will see you again someday!
