A graveside service will be held 12:00 noon on Wednesday, October 14, 2020 at Floral Garden Park Cemetery in High Point with Reverend Bobby Loving officiating.
Mrs. Dennis was born in High Point on February 12, 1933 to the late George W. Scarce and the late Hattie Evans Scarce. She was retired from Brayton International and member of the Pentecostal Holiness faith. Mrs. Dennis loved to travel, especially to her beach home, and also enjoyed crocheting with her friends. She was an extraordinary leather crafter and a 45 year breast cancer survivor.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Junior Dennis in 2006, along with four brothers and two sisters.
She is survived by her daughter, Tammy Harb and husband Jerry (whom she loved like a son) of Sophia; sons, Al Cornell Dennis (Pat) of Sophia and Tony Dennis (Debbie) of Thomasville; seven grandchildren, Brandon Harb (Kathleen), Brad Harb (Mary Beth), Brian Harb (Ashley), Paige Clark (Cody), Julie Dennis, Bridgette and Brant Dennis and several great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 am until 11:30 am on Wednesday, October 14, 2020 at Advantage Funerals and Cremations in Archdale.
In addition to flowers, memorials may be made to the Randolph Hospice House, 446 Vision Dr., Asheboro, NC 27203.
