  • Branham Matthew Mann Sr.

    Manager

    Branham M. Mann, Sr. began working as a funeral attendant in the fall of 2008 in Shawnee, Oklahoma while studying for his BA in History. Upon completing his degree in History in the spring of 2009, Branham started funeral school at Commonwealth Institute of Funeral Service in Houston, Texas and received his degree in Funeral Directing in 2010. Branham served his internship at Geo H. Lewis and Sons Funeral Directors. He was a licensed funeral director in the State of Texas for over six years. Branham has worked as a manager in several Dignity firms in the Greater Houston Area including Forest Park Westheimer Funeral Home and The Settegast-Kopf Co. Funeral Directors. In the fall of 2016, Branham relocated to Northern Virginia to become the location manager at Demaine Funeral Home in Alexandria. Branham has a great love for assisting families through difficult times and has devoted his career to help families.

    Funeral Director

    With more than 30 years of funeral service experience, Charles Carey is a licensed funeral director in the District of Columbia, Maryland and Virginia. A United States Army veteran, he lives in Prince George’s County, Maryland, and enjoys spending time with family, playing golf, reading and visiting local historical sites.

  • Shelby Leah Judge

    Funeral Director

    Shelby Judge has been serving families in Northern Virginia since 2013. Originally from California, she found herself in Virginia by way of Tennessee, where she graduated from Middle Tennessee State University with a degree in general science and John A. Gupton College with a degree in mortuary science.

    Shelby is a first generation funeral director. She resides in the city of Alexandria and enjoys spending time with her family, friends and her bird, a green-cheeked conure.

  • Brooke Louise O'Gara

    Funeral Director

    A native of Virginia’s Tidewater region, Brooke O’Gara graduated from the TIDE Academy and went on to earn her funeral service degree from John Tyler Community College in 2017. She became a funeral director to guide and care for each family as her own. In 2019, Brooke relocated to Northern Virginia.

  • Tharon M Stengel

    Funeral Director

    A 2011 mortuary science graduate of Miami-Dade College, Tharon Stengel is the first of his family to become a licensed funeral director. After completing his internship in Florida, Tharon relocated to northern Virginia in 2013 to further his passion in funeral service.

    Funeral Director

    Samantha R. Washington joined the staff of Fort Lincoln Funeral Home in 2007. She is a licensed mortician in MD, DC, and VA. She has an AS in mortuary science and BA in biology. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family.

  • Juliana Alexes Fortunato


    After earning her bachelor’s degree from Point Park University, Juliana graduated from the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science with a degree in funeral service Summa Cum Laude as valedictorian of her class. She discovered her passion for funeral service while working as an Emergency Medical Technician and aide at UPMC hospitals in Pittsburgh. In her free time, Juliana enjoys being in the outdoors and running.

  • Ava Oaxaca

    Funeral Arranger

    An Arlington native, Ava Oaxaca is the first in her family to pursue a career in funeral service. She graduated from the Peabody Institute of Music in Baltimore and George Mason University before discovering her passion for the funeral industry. She is working towards her degree at the Dallas Institute of Mortuary Science while interning as a member of our team. When not working, Ava enjoys cycling and traditional Irish music.
