Patrick J Egkan
Patrick Egkan has served families at Westminster Memorial Park Mortuary since 2007. Losing his mother in 2007 and his father in 2008, Patrick brings a personal perspective to each funeral he helps plan, treating each family as if they were his own.
His favorite quote is from John Lennon: “When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy.’ They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life.”
In his spare time, Patrick enjoys being with his family, including 4 grandchildren, attending church and cheering on the Dodgers.
Jill Lugene Pike
Being part of the funeral service since 1999 has been a very personal and fulfilling career path for Jill. She came to realize at a very early age that she had a calling to help families when her best friend died tragically in an accident at the age of 14. She felt drawn by her compassion for others who have lost loved ones and is honored to be a part of all of the families that she serves and strives to make a difference in people’s lives. Her career began in the Pacific Northwest where she completed her apprenticeship as a funeral director and embalmer. She started her funeral service studies at Mt. Hood College in Gresham, Oregon before deciding to transfer and graduate from Cypress College in order to be closer to family. Jill is a California Licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer and has been with the Pacific View Memorial Park & Mortuary family since 2011. Jill’s experience working in the funeral service has taught her what’s important in life: family, friends, health and happiness. In her spare time, you will find Jill spending time with her family, cheering on her son as he works toward receiving his black belt in Taekwondo or attending a good music concert.
