For over 4 decades Robert Given has proudly served the families of Coshocton County. Following his 1972 graduation from Coshocton High School, Bob graduated from The Ohio State University and then attended the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science, graduating in 1976. He became a licensed funeral director and embalmer in April of the following year.
Bob is an Indy Car and Formula 1 Racing enthusiast and enjoys camping and spending time with his family. He is married and has 2 children and 2 grandchildren.
William L Given
William Given has served the families of Coshocton County for over 4 decades. A 1970 graduate of Coshocton High School in 1970, Bill graduated from The Ohio State University and furthered his schooling at the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science, graduating in 1974. In May 1975 he became a licensed funeral director and embalmer.
For many years Bill has been, and continues to be, very active in the community and has served on the Hospice Board, Salvation Army Advisory Board and the Library Board. He is current chairman of Clary Gardens and the Saba Family Trust. Bill is also a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Coshocton Rotary Club and the Masonic Lodge of West Lafayette.
Bill is married with 2 children and 3 grandchildren.
Jessica A Paisley
Jessica grew up in Zanesville, graduating from Zanesville High School and Zane State College. In 2004, she continued her studies at the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science, where she received a bachelor's degree in mortuary science and became a licensed funeral director and embalmer. In 2008, Jessica joined Given-Dawson Funeral Home as a funeral director and embalmer. She then became the firm's general manager in January 2012. In 2017, Bill and Bob Given added Jessica's name to the firm, changing it to Given-Dawson-Paisley Funeral Home.
She is a member of the Ohio Funeral Directors Association, National Funeral Directors Association and Ohio Embalmers Association. She is also a member of the Coshocton Elementary PTO and Leadership of Coshocton County. Jessica and her husband Mike have two children, Wyatt and Jerika. She loves being a mom and spending time with her family. Jessica also enjoys traveling, camping, reading and attending baseball games.
Brooklyn Denise Dawson
Brooklyn Dawson is a licensed funeral director at Given-Dawson-Paisley Funeral Home. She was born in Monroe, Louisiana, and moved to the small town of Bucyrus, Ohio, where she and her 2 younger siblings were raised.
A sixth-grade career project introduced Brooklyn to the art of the funeral business. She volunteered for 3 years at a local funeral home in Bucyrus, where she fell in love with funeral directing. She graduated from the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science in December 2014 and began her apprenticeship at Given-Dawson-Paisley Funeral Home in January 2015. Brooklyn obtained her funeral director license in July 2016 and looks forward to serving Coshocton for many more years.
Brooklyn enjoys spending her free time reading, visiting family, crocheting, going to the movies and seeing friends.
Kaitlyn Marie Saylor
Kaitlyn grew up in Coshocton. She graduated from Coshocton High School and earned a bachelor’s degree at Muskingum University in New Concord. After graduating from Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science in 2015, she became a funeral director and embalmer at Addy Funeral Home in Newcomerstown. Kaitlyn returned to her hometown and joined Given-Dawson-Paisley Funeral Home in 2018. When she is not working, Kaitlyn enjoys gardening and spending time with her husband.
