    David G Garner


    David Garner, a native of Amity, Arkansas, began serving families out of a love for helping people at their greatest time of need. David brings 21 years of funeral experience to El Dorado, and has been married to his wife Carla for 29 years. They share three sons and nine grandchildren. They love serving their community, family and friends. Volunteering in our community is a favorite pastime, in between entertaining on his small farm. He loves to hunt, fish, garden and cook. He enjoys life to the fullest with family and friends. He is a big supporter of all Wildcat sports and surrounding area sporting events. He and his wife are hardcore Razorback fans, and proudly call El Dorado home.

    Denise A Barrett

    Funeral Director

    Lifelong El Dorado resident Denise Barrett has 15 years’ experience serving families in southern Arkansas, not only as a licensed funeral director, but as owner and operator of Union County Trauma Scene Restoration. Denise and her husband James have three amazing children and two adorable granddaughters. She enjoys spending time with her family and tending to her horses, dogs and a variety of cats. In her spare time, she volunteers for Court Appointed Special Advocates for Children, Alzheimer's Association and the ALS Foundation.

    Keith E Gale

    Funeral Director

    Keith brings 40 years of experience assisting families to El Dorado, with experience in both Tennessee and Arkansas. A graduate of John A. Gupton College and Austin Peay State University, he attends St. Mary Episcopal Church. In his spare time, Keith loves spending time with his family and “grand dogs” Fat Boy and Mister Oui Oui.

    After a career in radio and television, John brings 15 years of funeral experience to El Dorado. Husband of 50 years to Sandy, the pair share two daughters and six grandchildren. He is a member of College Avenue Church of Christ.

    Victor Lamar Watson

    Funeral Director

    For over 52 years, Victor has served families in need of funeral services in Louisiana and Arkansas. Victor graduated from the Kentucky School of Mortuary Science and strives to deliver each family the dignity and professionalism they deserve. Victor also finds time for flower gardening, woodworking and attending St. Paul United Methodist Church.

    Debra Kay Faulkner

    Debra is a native of El Dorado and has provided compassionate care to families in South Arkansas since 2010. She attended Southern Arkansas University where she completed her degree in radiology technology.

    Humbled by the sting of the loss of her 26-year-old daughter in 2015, Debra gained meaningful insight into the importance of providing families with thoughtful and understanding guidance for funeral planning and care.

    Debra has been married to her husband for 32 years and has a wonderful son and daughter-in-law. Her pride and joy are her 3 precious grandsons.

    Roy I Parker Jr.

    Funeral Services Assistant

    Since 2004, Roy has provided compassionate care to the families of El Dorado. Roy earned his funeral director's license in 2004. He is proud to be part of the Dignity Memorial network, guiding families through one of the most difficult times in life.

    Roy graduated from El Dorado High School in 1962 and the University of Arkansas at Monticello in 1966. He joined the United States Air Force in 1966 and completed officer training school in December 1966. He retired in 1986 at the rank of major after a 20-year career that took him around the world. During his time off, Roy enjoys biking and hiking.

    Richard C Pumphrey

    Funeral Services Assistant

    Richard started working in the funeral business in 1963 as an ambulance attendant and assistant funeral director. He worked part-time on weekends and summer through high school and college. After graduating from college in 1969 with a degree in marketing, Richard continued to work part-time at a funeral home while launching a 46-year career as an accountant for Lion Oil Company. 

    Richard joined the team at Young's Funeral Directors in 1981. In 2007, he became a licensed funeral director in Arkansas. Though he has retired from Lion Oil Company, Richard continues to work part-time at the funeral home.

    In addition to accounting and funeral service careers, Richard served as a justice of the peace for six years, Civil Service Commission chairman for 16 years, deputy coroner for many years, and chief of the Union County Rescue Service for more than three decades.
