Plenty of burial options

How will your family’s legacy be memorialized? With a granite upright monument? A private family estate? Placement in a cremation niche? There are many ways to inter a loved one, and at Arlington Memorial, we offer a wide variety of burial options, including crypts, lawn crypts, private family estates, private mausoleums (both private options can hold 2-8 family members) and ground burial gardens.

For those who choose cremation, we have a lush wilderness garden exclusively for the placement of cremated remains. A winding brick walkway and babbling fountain encourages contemplation and reflection as you visit a loved one’s niche, memorial bench or columbarium.

We also have indoor and outdoor mausoleum complexes for those who wish to be buried or inurned above ground. Both mausoleums offer spaces for committal services. The indoor mausoleum has a modern chapel with a wood beam cathedral ceiling and floor-to-ceiling windows, while the outdoor mausoleum complex has a lovely and spacious pavilion landscaped with cypress trees and shrubbery.

Sandy Springs is a tight-knit and diverse community. We say hello to each other at the store and help our neighbors when they need us. At Arlington Memorial Park, we welcome families of all faiths, backgrounds and cultures. We are a non-denominational cemetery and anyone can be buried here.

Our team is familiar with burial customs for many religions and cultures, including Catholic, Chinese, Vietnamese and Jewish. Certain sections of the cemetery are designated to those of Catholic and Jewish faiths. We also are well-versed in providing proper and dignified burials for veterans.

No matter your background, culture or religion, we are committed to honoring your traditions and needs.

Coordination with local funeral homes

We have a close relationship with H.M. Patterson and Son Arlington Chapel and Sandy Springs Chapel. Both of these funeral homes are just down the road from Arlington Memorial Park and can help you make funeral arrangements for your loved one. Of course, we are happy to coordinate with the funeral home of your choice. We want to make the transition from funeral home to cemetery as seamless and easy as possible.

We care about the Atlanta community

At Arlington Memorial Park, we are more than just a cemetery, we are a member of the Greater Atlanta community. As your neighbor, we know how important it is to give back. We regularly host services on Easter and All Souls' Day, and each year we have a special service in the infant and baby section of the cemetery. We also place flags on the graves of veterans every Memorial Day. All are invited to attend our events.

Burial services for veterans

We believe that every veteran deserves a proper military burial, no matter their financial situation. As a participant in the Dignity Memorial Homeless Veterans Burial Program, we provide free burial services to homeless and indigent veterans. The program is a cooperative effort with Dignity Memorial funeral and cemetery providers, the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, the Veterans of Foreign Wars, local medical examiners, coroners, veterans advocates and veterans organizations.
