  • Rachel Ann Krish

    Funeral Director

“I love what I do, I love serving our families, and it really give me a sense of pride and honor to be able to sit with families during one of the most difficult times of their lives, these families become my family.” Rachel has been serving families for Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes since 2015. Originally from the Ovid-Elsie area, Rachel now resides in St. Johns, Michigan with her husband of 19 years, Steve and her four children, Emilie, Kaytlyn, Jenna and Alexander. Funeral directing was a calling for Rachel. She knew at a very young age this is what she wanted to do. Rachel took a different route at first, she became a wife and a mother. The thought of becoming a funeral director was always in the back of her mind. She decided in 2010 that now was the time to attend mortuary school. She applied to Worsham College of Mortuary Science, in Wheeling, Illinois. She moved to Chicago for a year and graduated with honors in 2011. Rachel came back after graduation to Michigan. She was able to fulfill her requirements and was offered a position as a licensed Funeral Director for Gorsline Runciman. Rachel is now serving families in the Lansing, East Lansing, Williamston, Mason and Dewitt areas. In her spare time she loves spending time with her family, whether it is camping up north, going to school sporting events, baking with the kids, going to the movies, or just relaxing at home. Rachel has been involved in coaching soccer and softball in her community. She also volunteers with her children during the Mint Festival in St. Johns, Michigan, and the 4-H Clinton County Fair.
