Willis-Reynolds Funeral Home has provided funeral and cremation services to families in Newton, North Carolina, since 1938. For more than 70 years, the Catawba County community has trusted us to honor their loved ones with respect, dignity and integrity. We serve all ethnicities and faith backgrounds and work closely with veterans organizations to honor those who have served our country.

Our well-appointed funeral home offers an expansive lawn and large covered porticos at both the main and chapel entrances. For your convenience, there is ample parking in our large lot.

Inside our Colonial-style facility, you will find a bright and spacious chapel as well as 2 expansive spaces for visitations and gatherings. We also have a bright and airy reception room for catered events.

Cremation services

From a direct cremation without a memorial service or a witness cremation to a full funeral service before or after the cremation and more, we help you understand this increasingly common choice—and handle all of the cremation arrangements. Willis-Reynolds Funeral Home has an on-site crematory, which means your loved one never leaves our care.

History

Sitting area at Willis-Reynolds Funeral HomeWillis-Reynolds Funeral Home was founded in 1938 by James “Rex” Reynolds and Clyde Willis. The business was purchased by Catawba County native Stuart Terry in 1986. Terry bought property and built the funeral home at its current location near the Catawba County Judicial Center in 1989.

The on-site crematory was added in 2002. It was the first in the Newton-Conover area.

Today our team carries on a tradition of fine compassionate care 80 years in the making.
