    Erik Michael Tiner


    Erik has been in funeral service since 2003, serving as a family service counselor, funeral director and location manager. He chose the funeral industry because of the lasting impression made on him by other funeral directors who served his family. Erik wanted to be able to provide the comfort and compassion he experienced during his losses.

    Erik attended Lewiston High School, class of 1989 and the University of Southern Maine, obtaining an associate degree. In 2002 Erik decided to go back to school and attended the Funeral Institute of the Northeast, obtaining an associate degree in funeral service and a bachelor’s degree from Kaplan University in business management.

    Erik is involved in the community as a member of the Auburn Masonic Lodge and as a member of Purpoodock Club, where he likes to golf.

    In 1991 Erik married his high-school sweetheart and together they raised their 3 sons. He is proud to share that his 2 oldest sons are currently serving our country in the military. Erik enjoys camping, hiking and traveling with his family.

    Autumn Rayne Kramer

    Funeral Director

    Born and raised in Western Pennsylvania, Autumn Kramer has served families for over a decade, feeling honored to help families in their time of need. After graduating from the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science in 2007, she served the Pittsburgh areas as a licensed funeral director and embalmer for several years. She then relocated to Florida and served as a crematory manager and an embalmer in the Tallahassee area. In pursuit of more personal and professional growth, she decided to bring her skill as a funeral director to Maine. Outside of work, Autumn enjoys doing CrossFit and being outdoors as much as possible, as well as walking and hiking with her dog. She resides in Yarmouth with her dog Jackie and her cat Grace.

    Andrew L McCarthy

    Funeral Director

    Born and raised in Westbrook, Andrew McCarthy graduated from Westbrook High School and received his funeral service education at Mt. Ida College in Newton, Massachusetts. Since 2012, Andrew has served families at funeral homes throughout both Massachusetts and Maine. He is honored to fulfill his dream of guiding Westbrook and Portland-area families through one of life’s most difficult times. In his spare time, Andrew plays guitar and sings at local establishments, and enjoys playing golf, fishing and spending time with family and friends.

    John A Tanguay

    Funeral Director

    John has been connected to the funeral industry since he was a child, assisting his father, a superintendent at a Portland Cemetery, any chance he could. With 5 sisters at home, he never missed an opportunity to escape with his dad to the cemetery on Saturdays and during the summer months.

    John would often speak with the funeral staff at the cemetery and decided he wanted to be a funeral director. After high school, he moved to Troy, New York, to start a mortuary science program. He worked at Leahy Funeral Home in Troy while attending Hudson Valley Community College.

    After graduating, John moved back to Maine and began his apprenticeship at Hay and Peabody Funeral Home in Portland. Today, John serves as part of a network of funeral professionals with different skill levels and has served the families of the Portland area since 1996.

    John currently lives in Westbrook with his wife, 2 daughters and son. His family enjoys camping and spending as much time outside as possible.

    Robert Barnes


    Robert has worked in funeral service since 1974. He graduated from Eastern Nazarene College with a degree in business administration and New England Institute of Mortuary Science with a degree in mortuary science. He served in the U.S. Army from 1968 to 1971, including time in Mortuary Affairs in Seoul, Korea, during the Vietnam War. He was honorably discharged in 1971.

    In 1979, Robert became a certified funeral service practitioner with the Academy of Funeral Service Practice. In January 2017 he was recognized for 37 years of membership. He is a past president of the Maine Funeral Directors Association, past president of the Kiwanis Club of Portland and past president and District 1 director of the International Conference of Funeral Service Examining Boards.

    He was awarded an honorary doctor of law degree by New England Institute at Mount Ida College in 1989.

    Robert was appointed to the State Board of Funeral Service by the governor of Maine in 1994. He served as chairman for 17 years and remains a member of the board.

    David A Floryan

    Funeral Director

    David was raised in Connecticut and went to mortuary college in California. He has worked in the funeral industry since 1999, first as a planning counselor, then as a manager and funeral director. David's wife practiced her master gardener skills on funeral home grounds for years. 

    David and his wife moved from Vermont to make Yarmouth their home. They renovated a home next to the Royal River and live there with their dog.

    David Jones


    David graduated from Cape Elizabeth High School in 1971. He attended the University of Southern Maine and New England Institute of Applied Arts and Sciences. David began working at Jones, Rich and Barnes Funeral Home in 1974 as an attendant. He became a licensed funeral practitioner in 1976. In 1980, he became vice president of the company. Four years later, following the death of his mother, Elizabeth Jones, he became president.

    David has served on the board of directors of the Maine Funeral Directors Association and Victoria Mansion. He has been a member of the Masons, Scottish Rite Bodies of Portland and Portland Lions Club. He's also served the Cape Elizabeth Fire Department Engine No. 2, receiving the John Civili Award for outstanding service. David was a member of the Salvation Army Advisory Board for more than 15 years and is currently a cemetery assistant for Riverside Cemetery Association, Cape Elizabeth.

    In 1977, David married his wife, Ann. They have 2 sons, Chandler and Stuart. When he is not working, David enjoys spending time with his grandchildren, working on his property, playing golf and volunteering with the fire department.
