Mr. Gregory Harold Ratzlaff

Ratzlaff, GregoryOctober 19, 1962 - August 26, 2009Greg passed peacefully into the presence of his Lord in the early hours of Wednesday, August 26, with family at his side. He fought a courageous battle with cancer for many months, all the while bringing joy, laughter and his gentle love to those around him. His sweet brave spirit is now free and his body no longer hurting.He is survived by his loving parents, Harold & Viola Ratzlaff, his two brothers, Chuck (Jane) and Doug (Lesley) along with three nephews Brendan, Devon, Cameron, one niece, Nicole, and dear friend Laurene. A memorial service is planned for 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, September 1, 2009, at Bakerview MB Church, 2285 Clearbrook Road, Abbotsford, BC. In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Greg may be made to the Fraser Valley Health Care Foundation in support of the Tertiary Palliative Care Unit at the Abbotsford Regional Hospital, for the purchase of needed equipment. Alternatively, money may be left in a donation box (memorial service) toward the placement of a memorial park bench in one of Greg’s favorite outdoor places.
